I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m still not over reppin’ the Nike Training Club app. I’m so obsessed with it that I can’t resist mentioning it to anyone who asks about my routine.

The app is like a trainer you carry in your pocket.

The app is like a trainer you carry in your pocket.

Why You’ll Love It:

- It’s free and available for Iphones and Droids.
- There are tons of workouts to choose from, all with varying times and fitness goals.
- The workouts mix cardio with strength training, so you can tone up and lose weight.
- You will learn new moves for your fitness arsenal, which can help you switch things up with ease.
- Did I mention it’s free?
- Workouts are easy to modify and require minimal-if any-equipment.
- You can use it at the gym, outside, or home.
- Every time you complete a workout you earn rewards.
- Uh…it’s free!

I do 2-3 strength training workouts a week (along with my cardio 5-6 days a week). I do an arm workout, lift with my boyfriend, and then I do a 30-minute Nike drill. I’ve got noticeably stronger without creating the type of muscles I don’t find attractive. I usually do it at home, while I play a movie in the background for noise. I’ve been doing the beginnings Training Corp drill and now am ready to graduate to intermediate. It’s an amazing app and you NEED to download it.

And to prove how effective this workout is, I’m sharing a mash-up of some of the moves you’ll find on the app. Try it and report back. Let me know what you think. And while you’re at it, let me know what type of strength training you’re doing? Are you lifting? Using resistance bands? Maybe weighted Pilates? Let me know.
